My client is an established market leading company in the financial services. They are currently expanding their operations and experiencing exciting growth. They are looking for an IT Systems Operator to join their impressive operations in the Edgbaston area. The IT Systems Operator will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the IT systems providing business critical 24/ 7 support. The IT Systems Operator will also be accountable for monitoring the status of application, databases and networks. The successful IT Systems Operator will have:
·Knowledge of UNIX and MS Windows
·Experience working on a Helpdesk
·Experience using system monitoring tools
·Experience conducting system backups
·Knowledge of AIX, Lotus Notes or MS Office (Desirable)
