Java/ Oracle E-commerce Developer, Java 5.0, Weblogic, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, PL/ SQL, London - * Huntress has been retained on an exclusive basis to build a World Class E-commerce team for a key client. * - This is an outstanding opportunity in the current market place to join a FTSE 100 blue chip organisation that have committed significant investment to completely reengineer their e-commerce platform, utilising the very latest technologies to develop a World Class solution. The solution will be based around the following technologies; Java 5.0, JEE 1.5, Weblogic 9.2, Spring, Hibernate and oracle 10g. To qualify for this opportunity you will need to have a proven track record in software development, preferably within an e-commerce environment, ideally with a number of the above technologies. Team fit is essential as they are using a SCRUM methodology and working with a collaborative approach. The role requires an individual who can demonstrate the ability to face off to both the business and technology, show a thorough experience of Java database development, as well as a strong working knowledge of PL/ SQL, and good Oracle skills. A strong experience of team-based projects in past roles is a must, while excellent communication skills are an essential characteristic for a suitable candidate.
Industry experience is not essential, however, an interest in the financial markets would be beneficial. Huntress will be undertaking first level interviews over the coming week, and would be keen to talk to any individuals who are interested in learning more about this unique opportunity.
