UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (REDHAT LINUX, AIX 5.3, HP-UX V11) - LONDON
A globally recognised financial institution, based in central London, are looking for a UNIX System Administrator (Redhat Linux, AIX 5.3, HP-UX V11) to join their established production support team.
The main responsibilities of the role will involve such tasks as the daily support of the company's UNIX and AS400 server estate which includes the monitoring of capacity, performance and participating fully in resolving problems and issues. There is also a requirement to partake in system development and to insure there is continuous improvement of the current operational processes and procedures.
The successful candidate will come with a proven track record of system delivery and support at operating system level. you will have extensive experience of atleast two of the UNIX flavours supported by the team, i.e. AIX 5.3, Redhat Linux and HP-UX (Version 11). A high level of knowledge of SAN technologies and previous experience of BMC Performance Manager would be very beneficial.
Salary is in the range of £45-50k/ annum and come as part of an excellent package.
