Experienced and dynamic support professional required to work for a top London investment bank with potential for travel to Amsterdam and Singapore.
Essential skills: Solid general knowledge of the Murex application ability to navigate through the GUI, an understanding of the architecture and the underlying DB, experience of maintaining static data etc.
Strong knowledge of the Datamart component and the Actuate tool; ability to support and develop reports.
Good UNIX skills including preferably script development/ support knowledge.
Good RDBMS knowledge preferably Oracle.
Knowledge of job scheduling/ management tools preferably Autosys (desirable).
Experience of all phases of the IT project lifecycle.
Good knowledge of FX/ MM products (desirable)
Duties: Work as part of a technical support team providing user and system support between the hours of 06:00 and 19:00.
Provide overnight on-call support for the EOD processes on a rota basis.
development/ maintenance and support MxML Exchange (pre, post and exchange workflow).
Support of the overnight processes, including troubleshooting any problems encountered with the EOD and configuring and maintaining the job scheduler/ processing scripts.
Running/ monitoring housekeeping tasks.
Support/ configuration of the real-time interface (Reuters market data).
General support work.
Regression testing new binaries.
Production acceptance testing of workflow/ reports etc.
Installation into production of workflow/ reports/ binaries.
Maintenance and refreshment of test environments.
Troubleshooting failed processes and resolving accordingly.
