Oracle DBA sought by this London based software house and service provider to work on growing portfolio of high availability databases. Working initially within development, test and QA environments, long term this role is set to evolve into a full production DBA position. Candidates will ideally have the following skill set:

•Degree in related degree subject
•First rate communication skills
•High personal standards of work
•Some commercial experience of Oracle database administration (ideally 10g, other versions considered)
•Understanding of development tools and implementation processes
•Exposure to storage, version control, bug tracking and build

Any exposure to the following is highly desirable:

•Linux O/ S & shell scripting
•Oracle Enterprise Manager
•Data Warehouse principles
