Principal Analog (Analogue) IC Design Engineer required for Semiconductor company based in Cambridgeshire. Switched-mode power supplies and linear regulators, power management systems, CMOS processes, leadership.
Our client specialises in providing single-chip radio devices to the global market for wireless communications.
They are seeking a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to be responsible for creating and specifying the implementation at system level and to create design specs of individual sub cells. Further to this you will be responsible for reviewing, overseeing and specifying design work of other designers, coming up with new initiatives to enhance the companies power-supply management systems and carry out the design from system level through to transistor level and in some instances physical level.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of Analog IC Design, especially of switched-mode power supplies and linear regulators, preferably obtained on CMOS process as well as experience in power management cells on system-level.
An understanding of processing technology and the physical design of power management systems is ideal.
Strong leadership skills, communication skills and initiative are required for this role.
