Prestigious Investment Bank currently requires an experienced Business Analyst. This position sits within the IT Application Engineering team in the Finance and Settlements group. This team is responsible for peripheral development and implementation for a range of systems supporting the requirements of the finance, settlements and treasury business groups. The BA will perform analysis of business/ functional requirements as part of an assigned project, create business specifications pertaining to component based processes and overall straight through processing environment, participate in design of business solutions and liaise with business and project teams to ensure resolution of issues and concerns. You will need experience of working within the Investment Banking industry with exposure to component based processes and straight through processing environment, detailed understanding of Crest (Euroclear) settlements, knowledge of Swift messaging and exposure to new exchanges and exposure to MiFID and equity based financial products.
