My client, a top investment bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior test engineer. This Senior Test Engineer role is a hands-on testing position that requires a working knowledge of testing principles, best practices, and business knowledge (specifically in interpretation of business requirements combined with knowledge of Software Quality Assurance practices. The candidate is expected to be able to follow planned test strategies and update/ track/ create test plans in support of De Integration Project. They must be able to work with Business Users and SME's to create and define test scenarios for Systems/ Product Test, End-to-End and prep for UAT, including critical path analysis for successful project delivery.
They should also have SQL, XML and UNIX working knowledge. Proficient in following technologies: SQL, RDBMS (Sybase or Oracle with ability to perform data integrity and data points validation according to DB schema, and DB consumer validation testing), UNIX, Windows, XML, Java, application server (Weblogic or JBoss), Messaging, and IBM MQ Series.
