Our client, a leading information and data services provider, requires an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) as part of their ongoing expansion plans. The role is to develop large and complex databases in a range of different areas across the business as well as maintain and administer existing SQL databases.

You must have strong SQL Server 2000 experience (SQL 2005 desirable) and have both SQL Database Development / Design expertise as well as SQL maintenance experience. It is essential that you understand large and complex databases and can design a database from a blank template. Transact SQL skills are also essential to this role. ASP.Net and VB.Net skills would be desirable and a strong academic background in a relevant area would also be beneficial.

This is a really strong opportunity to work for a leading data services organisation as part of a small and highly skilled / specialist team.
