Graduate Software Tester, Warrington
I urgently require a Graduate Tester to work for a well established, highly successful software house based in the Warrington area.
As the Graduate Tester you will be responsible for:
• Defining and generating automated and manual tests
• Contribute to the definition of test strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to define test specifications and plans
• Write and execute manual and automated tests
• Raising and tracking of detailed fault reports
• Deep analysis of software issues to support efficient and effective diagnosis and resolution of issues
• Assist in the maintenance of the test network infrastructure
• Provide assistance to the customer support team, in reproducing customer issues in a variety of environments
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Demonstrate a high level of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism
Candidates must have an understanding of Windows NT/ 2000/ 2003 server and desktop environments together with a technical understanding of scripting languaues such as VB, VBScript, Perl or similar. In addition to this you should have solid technical and analytical problem solving skills and must be able to demonstrate ambition and the tenacity to succeed.
