Based in London, the Product Development Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing new product introductions for European markets (UK, Germany, France and Spain), operating within the business development area of a global, leading online media publishing company.

Specific tasks will include:

Gathering and prioritizing product requirements

Executing (implementation & testing) of compelling web product strategies in conjunction with paneuropean and global teams (IT development/ engineering, product owner and management units, marketing teams), being the main point of contact between European & the US based IT development teams

Developing comprehensive product & marketing roadmaps

Project managing cross-functional development projects working closely with development teams to meet release deadlines

Driving successful, high-impact product launches for European markets
Running beta and pilot programs with early-stage-products and samples
Organizing product owner team meetings

Candidate profile

Several years of professional experience in a product management or similar role, (marketing/ web product development), ideally acquired in an online publishing or similar fast paced work environment

Passionate about the internet, familiar with web based tools & keen understanding of the most recent trends around user/ subscriber web usage

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong project management, problem solving and organizational skills, particular in managing and leading across highly cross-functional teams

Familiar with matrix organizations and ability to travel to global offices and work under project related time zones

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology-related field

Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages (French, German, Spanish) would be a plus
