The largest E-commerce site in Europe and one of the biggest transactional hubs in the world. Also, one of the most technically advanced and innovative users of technology in the world being a Product Partner for Oracle. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Flex developer to improve a high availability, highly transactional, highly scaleable product using Object Orientated JavaScript, AJAX and other Internet technologies. Essential skills include JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, SourceSafe/ CVS/ Perforce, PVCS/ Testtrack/ JIRA and browser-based technologies. Some familiarity with Flash, Actionscript and Flex is essential along with providing team leadership. Commercial experience building applications using either Windows Forms or Java Swing is desirable. Good communication and written skills are needed along with a passion for technology to work within a challenging yet stimulating work environment.
