My client is a leading provider of domain names and Internet-related services. They provide a wide range of Internet services and work with leading names within the IT industry. They have offices in the UK, Europe and America. They are looking for an experienced Shared Services Manager to lead Technical Teams within the shred services department. You will have previous experience of leading a team of approx 12 and providing a technical point of escalation for these teams. Excellent understanding of network technologies and systems support such as Cisco, Juniper, Foundry, Linux, Unix and Windows etc. The role would ideally suit someone from a technical background maybe team leadership or Architectural with the ability to manage technical teams. You will have excellent communication and written skills and be able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Previous experience of working within a similar role is essential along with proven commercial experience working for an ISP or large-scale online organisation. You must have an understanding or an appreciation of managed hosting.
