My client, an Investment Bank require a Desktop Support Specialist to join their organisation.

Skills/ Experience (required):
Windows XP, Office 2007/ 2003; TCP/ IP,DNS, Cabling; Remote Access Connectivity (iPass/ VPN); Telephony (Nortel & VOIP); Blackberry; Previous or current experience or working in a banking or financial environment.

Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):
Delivering a focused client service through ad-hoc troubleshooting and problem solving for end user queries in a professional and timely manner; Extensive intra-bank liaison, especially with the business areas; Assist with upgrades and deployment of new software and hardware; Assist with the support of remote offices; Adhoc project work; Monitoring a support mail box and queue.
