An award winning Enterprise Solutions Company is actively recruiting for an experienced Microsoft .NET analyst programmer with VB.NET, ASP.NET and ADO.NET to join it's team based in Solihull, West Midlands. Our client's Software Audit team is dedicated to ensuring that customers are using software in a way that complies with their contract. In order to assist the software auditors, a team of developers design and create software to automatically create usage information from the customer's run-time environment. The Developer's primary responsibility will be to design, code and test .Net software as part of the audit toolset. The role will also involve interacting with analysts to refine requirements. Developers coming in at a more senior level will be expected to be capable of owning a significant part of the system, of mentoring less experienced developers and possibly of taking on an architectural or technical leadership role in the future. To qualify, you will have a sold background in application development in a .NET environment, using VB.NET, ASP.NET and ADO.NET. Knowledge of one or more of the following databases is required: Oracle, SQL Server, Informix or DB2, and any knowledge of UML and design patterns would be an advantage.
