NOC Engineer, London, Unix , Linux, Scripting, Windows, Support - My client is one of the World's most technically advanced companies being a Product Partner / Beta Test site for leading names across software and hardware. They are the Worlds leading Ecommerce organisation and also the highest transactional hub globally, vastly out stripping any major Bank / Financial Trading organisation. At the heart of their 24/ 7, high availability systems sits the NOC, supporting their business critical production systems. Due to internal promotions into the Unix / Linux SA teams they currently require 3 passionate Technical Service Desk / NOC Engineers to join their 24x7 Support Team. I am therefore looking for highly motivated and flexible candidates looking to work in one of the Worlds most challenging and rewarding companies. You should have gained experience of supporting business critical systems, with experience gained in Unix / Linux Systems Admin to at least scripting level and have knowledge of Windows 2000/ 2003/ XP Professional. Any exposure to the support of bespoke applications, web site support and or Oracle / SQL would be a benefit however full training will be given.
