Joining the Global Technology Business Management team. You will report to the head of the Business Mgmt team. The key aspects of the role will be to work closely with the Business Management organisation and technology programme managers to:
·Manage overall team finances including annual planning, expense management and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tracking
·Provision of corporate, business sponsors and senior management MIS
·Process control for mandatory governance and market requirements, eg SOX and Internal Audit deliverables
The person must have experience of managing all of the above for large global teams.
DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
The BMO provides a control function as well as ensuring that there is transparency of status, mandatory and financial tasks. At a high level the team is responsible for Financial Management , Technology Governance, Headcount, new product review, vendor relationship management and technology business continuity planning
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management: managing annual budget reviews, P&LS and process control
Headcount Management & Resource planning
·Hiring co-ordination
·Strategic Location strategy
Central vendor management relationship: establish process
Process control: implementing strategic process control measures
Compliance:
·Keep abreast of mandatory requirements, eg SOX and CAPS, and other compliance related deliveries for the department and track any open audit items across the department
·Keep abreast of upcoming audit requirements for the department and track any open audit items across the department
Adhoc
·Ensure that the right governance structure is in place across the Tech delivery teams
·Work with other individuals in the PMO and Business Management department to identify process improvement opportunities to drive the necessary improvement, when the performance of applications/ change projects
·Ensure the snr mgmt team and CTO groups are kept updated with the relevant information and that it is communicated in a timely and effective manner
COMPETENCIES
Mandatory:
·Comprehensive experience in a Project Office Management and/ or Business Management function
·Financial management experience
