Software Engineer – Java, C++
Salary: £40 - £50K

The company in question is a pioneer in the design and development of cutting edge solutions for enabling systems and semiconductor companies to rapidly and cost effectively innovate, differentiate, and win in their markets.
The chosen engineer’s responsibilities will include the following:
• Development of tools for VHDL and Verilog netlist generation
• Specification and creation of Java based GUIs
• Improving customer usability of IP through development of IP Advisor & hardware debug tools
• Writing design and test specifications
• Creating and maintaining build and regression test environments
You will be degree educated in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with a minimum 2:1 classification and strong software design skills programming in Java or C++. An appreciation of electronic design and knowledge of Java GUI, VHDL, Verilog or FPGA’s would be beneficial.
