Our client, a successful and well-established company which designs and manufactures Power and Magnetic product solutions for the Defence and Transit markets world-wide is now looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator for their offices in Staffordshire. The Project
Co-ordinator will join their Signature Management product stream. Reporting to the Programme Manager, this role will provide important project management support during bid phase and contract execution.
As Project Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include the management of small projects to agreed time, cost and specification objectives. You will be responsible for problem solving and negotiating priorities with manufacturing through attendance at production planning meetings and regular reviews. You will prepare and maintain project plans maximising the use of all available project management tools. You will also undertake the preparation of work breakdown structures and relevant business system information for contract execution. You will also be responsible for the enhancement of an effective team interface between engineering and manufacturing groups and the preparation of cost to completion analysis and reports and other essential project management information.
Successful candidates will be educated to ONC minimum in an engineering, manufacturing or related discipline. You will have a previous track record of working in project support/ management and proven experience of subcontract management is an advantage. A working knowledge of project management tools including Microsoft Project is necessary. You will also be computer literate.
