Web Developer – Visual Studio (ASP. NET2 / V.B .NET) - .Net Developer. My client, a prestigious FTSE 100 that specialises in providing software development for the travel industry is looking for a Web Developer to join its team in Henley- on -Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in corporate customer facing role and with a business that embraces cutting edge and new technologies. This business has evolved so much since its evolution and we are looking for a developer to play an integral part as it moves to the future and will embrace the opportunity to work on new projects. At present we require a candidate who is fully familiar with Visual Studio – ASP. NET2 / V.B .NET
The successful candidate will be a good team worker and effective communicator. You will have experience of web based application development on the Microsoft platform and be familiar with OO development and comfortable with all layers of multi-tier development. The candidate will require; • Strong HTML, SQL and VB.NET skills • Have had exposure to UML and NUnit with experience of web based application development on the Microsoft platform. • Familiar with OO development and comfortable with all layers of multi-tier development. Exposure to technologies such as Web Services, WinForms, Smart Client and Console applications would be considered advantageous.
