Position: Support Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £25k - £40k

Their technology is supplied worldwide for use in logistics, manufacturing, military and healthcare, this role will involve providing support to the field support teams, the company and customer base. This will involve the debugging/ faultfinding for the software, hardware and computer networks.

The successful support engineer will need to have a degree level qualification or above in a related discipline (e.g. Computer science, Electronic engineering, Physics, Science, Engineering).
Experience within a relevant/ similar support environment (ideally at least 2 years), along with knowledge of IP computer networks, TCP and switch and router configuration. Experience of Wireless, microwave RF, sensor, distributed software systems and familiarity with UNIX, Software development (e.g. C#, C++, .NET, Java), databases (e.g. Oracle, SQl) would be an advantage.
