Technical Architect / Solution Architect – Essex
My client a company based in Basildon, Essex is seeking an architect to join the project. You will be responsible for the leading and shaping development and implementation for the entire programme. Take ownership of the current design and implementation approach for this enterprise class system built around a commercial business rules engine product. Advise on architecture / data design to optimise performance, security, quality and affordability. Review all proposed changes for architectural impact and advise appropriately. Develop cost estimates for development and integration tasks. Provide technical guidance and solutions expertise to the full project lifecycle of the application. Maintain up to date Architecture documentation for the application.
The ideal candidate MUST Have: Experience as an architect on a major enterprise application, deep knowledge of J2EE applications from both a development and architecture perspective, understanding of a 3 tier application, experience providing design deliverables to support the development releases of a major application, experience working with applications that are financially sensitive (Sarbanes Oxley), experience of solution architecture for the design , development, testing and support of large scale object orientated enterprise applications, experience with SQL programming, preferably with Oracle 9i , Java programming experience (preferably SUN certified) working in large development teams, knowledge and experience working with WSAD5.1 and RAD7 including the ability to coach and guide others with these tools, UML, DR, Unix and Linux. Experience with Business Rules Engine (BRMS) would all be an advantage. For more details please apply.
