My client is a major UK gaming company with over forty years of experience in providing quality entertainment. They are the leading force in Europe in their industry with a reputation for outstanding creativity and innovation. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of the world's largest and most successful gaming machine designer and manufacturer, and new projects have led the company to offer the fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate developer to join their skilled team.
The successful candidate will be using C++ and Object-Orientated Design skills to create some of the Europe's most played games. They must have good interpersonal skills as it is important that they can argue points and criticise constructively during design reviews (formal and informal) whilst maintaining harmony within the team.
The company are offering a basic of 18k to start, with a 6 month probation period after which the salary will rise to 20k. Due to continued expansion, there is lots of room for progression within the company.
To be considered for this role, the applicant will need university experience of C++, having graduated with a 2:2 or above in a technology related discipline. Experience with OO Design Patters and 3D gaming is preferred, and it is ideal that the applicant has a passion for gaming.
