A new opportunity has arisen for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join a multi-national semiconductor manufacturer in their Munich design centre.

The company develops leading edge products including power management circuits, display drivers, audio and operational amplifiers.

In this position you tasks will include;

- Develop new circuit designs and architectures for data conversion both at transistor level as well as behavioural level
- Supervise layout design, extract and verify with post layout simulation
- Independently evaluate silicon, identify and resolve any associated problems with the new products.
- Effectively interface and assist test engineering, application engineering, product engineering and marketing.
- Interface with process engineering as well as package engineering to recommend appropriate technology
- Write invention disclosures and file patent applications on new ideas. Attend and contribute to technical conferences/ forums
- Mentor or help train other engineers
- Communicate well with others to coordinate a broad range of activities

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) you will have established experience in Analog IC Design and familiarity of Cadence, Spice/ Spectre circuit simulators, Matlab or behavioural simulators. Good communication skills in English essential with knowledge of the German language an advantage.
