Our client is a leading company in its field. They urgently require an Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer / Digital & Analogue to join them. The role will require you to devise the appropriate equipment test procedures and methods, carrying out test procedures and documenting the results. Responsible for the final product testing, including power supplies, control and electromechanical servo systems as well as fault finding to component level.

You will prefferably have the following skills:
-HNC / HND qualified Test Engineer
-Experience with digital and analogue electro-mechanical servo systems including troubleshooting and tuning.
-The ability to design and manufacture bespoke test equipment
-A sound understanding of electronic circuitry with the ability to diagnose faults to component level is essential
-Experience with embedded control systems / troubleshooting and failure analysis.
-The ability to do simple C shell programming is preferable.
-Knowledge of networking, TCP/ IP and UDP desirable
-The knowledge and ability to do simple systems administrative functions both in the MS Windows and UNIX environment is desirable
-An awareness of CE requirements for electro-mechanical devices specifically the “Low Voltage Directive” the “Machinery Directive” and the “EMC” directive is desirable
-Elementary skills with both electrical and mechanical CAD systems are desirable.
