Solutions Architect - Microsoft Gold Partner

My client has over 15 years experience of providing business consultancy, application integration and software development to both the private and public sector. Their offices are located between Milton Keynes and Northampton with easy access to all major cities and transportation networks.

The Candidate:

You will be an enthusiastic and self motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years software development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have a proven ability to develop functional and technical specifications, be client focused and able to deliver to agreed budgets and timelines.
The Role This key position includes responsibilities for:
Sales support for business-led DAM, BPM & Workflow solutions
Leading the development and integration of applications and business processes that integrate clients' applications to new and emerging technologies
Second line customer application support.
Essential Skills and Experience

Personal:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A strong personal drive with the ability to lead customer meetings / workshops / brainstorming sessions
Solid commercial experience
Ability to comprehend complex business process issues rapidly and produce technically credible solutions including functional specifications and design specifications
Customer focused. Flexible in approach. You will enjoy a variety of roles, tasks and environments
Able to assess priorities, manage expectations and manage workload to satisfy multiple clients
Clear precise attitude with methodical attention to detail.

Technical:

Ability to create Functional and Technical specification documentation for presentation to clients
Visual Studio and Visual Studio.NET development tools. Minimum 2 years experience using C# programming language in a commercial environment
MCSD qualification with potential to qualify as a Certified Solutions Architect
Strong Microsoft SQL Integration experience
minimum 2 years experience of web integration using SOAP, XML, Web Parts and Web Services
Familiar with modern SDLCs including RAD, MSF and SSADM and with Microsoft .NET System patterns and practices
Familiarity with 2nd generation BPM such as K2, Captaris and Staffware
Knowledge of document and records management software
Experience of Microsoft SharePoint and CRM an advantage.
Useful Additional Skills & Experience
Experience with any of the Microsoft Dynamics products, (MSCRM, Navision, Axapta) also BizTalk, SharePoint
