Our client, a rapidly expanding, Cork based software company seeks an Oracle 11i Business Analyst with experience in the Oracle 11i Order Fulfillment process, with emphasis on Oracle Order Management, Oracle Install Base, Oracle Service Contracts, and ecommerce.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Business Analyst will participate in the following tasks:

• Support rollout of Order to Cash and digital river e-commerce
• Document functional requirements and business use cases
• Manage the requirements process with end users
• Perform gap analysis: as-is versus to-be
• Assist with translating business requirements into a technical design
• Review testing plans, testing scripts
• Experience with SOX controls/ compliance desirable
• Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results
• Prepare end-user training material and conduct end-user training
• Experience in integrating EDI transactions with Oracle 11i, preferably using Oracle ECGateway and XML Gateway
• Prepare end-user training material and conduct end-user training
• Develop reports using standard tools including Oracle Reports and Discoverer
• Preparing data interface functional specifications
• Experience in Oracle Install base and Oracle Service Contracts a plus
• SQL script writing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 8 years Business Analysis experience
• Minimum 3 years experience as Business Analyst working with Oracle Order to Cash process
• Knowledge of integration with Accounts Receivable, Advanced Pricing, Service Contracts, Install based modules
• Minimum 3 years experience preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis
• Minimum 2 years experience report writing using Oracle Reports and/ or Discoverer
• Must have experience preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training
• Business Analysis experience in a high-tech (preferable software) company highly desirable
• Project Management experience a plus

EDUCATION:

• Degree (minimum) in Information Systems or related discipline
• Advanced degree would be a plus
• Oracle certifications would be a plus
