My client, a leading financial organisation in the city, is looking to recruit a network engineer to join a growing team of highly skilled engineers.
Skills / Experience required:
Strong routing and switching skills (OSPF, BGP etc); logical approach to fault finding; Vendor certifications (i.e. CCNP, CCIP); experience of working in a multi-vendor environment (i.e. Cisco, Foundry, Juniper, F5 etc); firewall technology; load balancing; implementation of monitoring and OSS platforms. Also desirable would be: VoIP experience; an understanding of a variety of operating systems and platforms, including LINUX.
My client is looking for a Network Engineer who will be involved in all facets of networking, from support, troubleshooting and configurations, through to the design and engineering of new networks.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the management and day to day operation of the company's corporate and production network infrastructure, providing on call support for MISSION CRITICAL production environment, participating in the design of new Networks and the ability to understand and communicate with developers and UNIX System Administrators.
