EQUITY DERIVATIVES TRADING ANALYST DEVELOPER - TIER 1 BANK - C#, C++, JAVA, EXCEL VBA

Analyst Developer position based on the trade-floor of a leading Investment Bank. This is an opportunity for a talented and mathematically minded C# / C++ / Java developer to secure a role with a business reporting line.

C# / C++ / Java developer required for a fantastic opportunity to work as an Analyst Developer directly for the Equity Derivatives Trading desk on one of the largest trading floors in Europe.

This team is responsible for solving Quantitative, Pricing and Risk solutions for trading, sales and quantitative staff as well as providing technical advice for IT projects.

The team interface directly with trading staff across Equity Cash, Derivatives, Convertibles, Exotics, Hybrids and Prime Brokerage desks. While a lot of the product prototyping takes place in Excel/ VBA the overwhelming majority of the trading systems and peripheral tools are written in C# or Java and interface with the C++ libraries. Typical projects would include volatility analysis and automated surface modelling, as well as studying the competitiveness of the organisations pricing and proactively seeking out new market opportunities, including E-Commerce and Algorithmic trading initiatives.

As result of a growth in demand for this team there as an opportunity for an experienced C#/ C++/ Java developer to work within this Front Office team. Surprisingly, previous exposure with in this area is not a prerequisite to be suitable for the role although a strong academic background and an appetite for solving complex problems is essential.
