A Senior Java Software Engineer is sought by the market leading financial boutique consultancy, to join the company's cutting edge Advanced Technology group responsible for working with emerging technologies, creating prototypes and innovative use of new and current technologies. You will be given autonomy to create experiment and evaluate alternative design and development approaches and be responsible for implementation of these within projects. Requirements:
PHD or Masters in a Science or Maths based topic, Java, Agile Methodologies, relational Databases, Windows, Unix or Solaris experience. Experience with optimisation of algorithms, low level code and databases will be a major bonus.
You should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a proven ability to innovate and inspire.
