Our client a truly global Blue Chip FMCG organisation requires an SAP Operations Manager / ERP Manager to join their Division based in Deeside near Chester, Cheshire.
Core remit is to manage and lead a support team delivering expert SAP Basis and Oracle database technical support for all SAP instances and Oracle databases within the operational service environment.
Accountabilities to include Operational Support, Service Improvements, Implementations , People Management, Manage Costs, Security & Compliance, Change Management, Strategic Blue Chip Vendor (including off shore) relationships.
My client requires a Senior Manager whose experience encompasses most of the above remit. You must also have strong people management skills, excellent understanding of systems and technical architecture, systems functionality, business processes, development lifecycle, testing, support processes, system operations, deep understanding / experience of SAP and Oracle e-Business, experience of successfully managing a SAP BASIS operational environment in a large, complex (ideally global) organisation. Experience of ITIL-based service management practices would be beneficial.
Salary is upto £55k + £7,200 car allowance + excellent bonus / benefits.
