Front office C++ Developer, Software System Optimisation, SQL, XML, Windows OS Internals, Equity, Front Office, London - My client is looking for a strong C++ Software Developer to work in their Equities Front Office IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the optimisation of the software system's performance and will be required to analyse the current performance uncovering any bottle necks in the system and then developing solutions to alleviate these bottle necks. It's essential that applicants have strong working experience in C++ (on Windows NT using Microsoft tools), SQL, XML, Windows OS in house applications, Excel and Data Analysis techniques. It is important that applicants have a strong understanding of how complex multi-process solutions actually work within a Windows NT environment. Experience working within an investment bank environment is important especially if it's within an equity front office team/ department.
