A leading UK banking organisation are seeking a Lead Developer to join a new team on a major IVR project, based in Leeds. This major project will involve transforming existing IVRs to a new centralised platform and the re-write of a number of product specific applications, which include the use of speech technologies.
You will need solid IVR project experience and a background in software architecture to develop ideas and strategy supporting architectural direction for IVRs. You will provide technical leadership on this project and will also contribute at the strategic planning level to assist the platform migration and transformation process.
Knowledge of IVR toolkits, ideally Avaya Dialog Designer and Java technologies is key, but equivalent experience can be considered. Also, any experience of Opensource tools (Eclipse IDE, Maven, JSP) would be beneficial as would familiarity of HTML, XML, JDBC, Apache TomCat and IBM WebSphere
