Aston Carter are currently representing one of the worlds largest and most successful Investments Banks. Our Client is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst with significant Front Office and Fidessa experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to escape the fast pace of London City Life and work in Dublin which has a slightly slower tempo
In order to be considered for this role it is necessary for you to have the following skills and experience:
Liaising extensively with external and/ or internal clients
Producing project feasibility reports
Capturing and documenting client requirements
Translating client requirements into concise project briefs suitable for developers
Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems
Drawing up specific proposals to modify or replace existing systems, services
In addition you will have worked with the following technologies:
Excellent writing capability
• Exposure to Oracle 9i/ 10g
• Experience in PL/ SQL, packages, functions
• SQL
• Knowledge of Securities reference Data
• Exposure to vendor data such as Reuters/ Bloomberg/ Thompson/ ComStock/ Direct Exchange data
• Front Office environment exposure
• Experience with Fidessa, Orc, GL Trade, TT
