Global Asset Management Bank requires a Project Manager and a Business Analyst work on a Fund Administration / Migration Project.

One of our clients external hedge fund administrators was recently acquired by another firm which is looking to consolidate the Funds that it administrates for our client onto one of its existing more established administration platforms. The administrator has a number of alternative platforms in its offering and our client is looking to undertake a deep dive review to assess which of the administrator's platforms would best meet the needs of its Funds from a Global perspective (US and Europe).
The key objectives of the role are to work with the subject matter experts within the functional areas within our clients to clearly identify the administration requirements of the various Fund groups, to undertake a gap analysis on the various administrator platforms and to identify which platform provides the best fit.

The Project Manager must have;
• Effective all round project management skills.
• Strong planning and delivery tracking capabilities.
• Clear, concise communicator with the skills to develop compromises between conflicting requirements, and to manage the expectations of stakeholders effectively.
• Drive resolution through “hands-on” approach.
• Software design and development familiarity.
• Knowledge of end to end investment and trade flow processes.
• General knowledge of Hedge Fund administration outsourcing arrangements (middle office, back office and transfer agency)
• Track record of successful project management in the asset management sector is essential
Preferable
• Experience of managing a similar project

The Business Analyst must have;
• Strong structured business analysis and documentation skills
• Drive resolution through “hands-on” approach.
• Clear, concise communicator with the skills to develop compromises between conflicting requirements.
• Analytical approach
• Ability to offer alternative approaches in problem solving situations
• Flexible approach to working hours to facilitate global time-zone
• Self motivated, delivery focused and able to work within tight timescales
• Knowledge of Hedge Fund administration outsourcing arrangements (middle office, back office and transfer agency)
• Knowledge of end to end trade flow processes (e.g. equities, fixed income, derivatives)
• Track record of success business analysis in the asset management sector is essential.
• Experience of a similar project is preferred.
