Technical Business Analyst – Blackburn

I am currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work for a successful rapidly growing telecommunications company based in Blackburn.

As the Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for the collection, documentation and maintenance of both Business and Technical requirements specifications for projects
• The individual will also be responsible for handling change control to requirements through a project as well as answering queries from all parties in relation to requirements
• The individual will work directly with the Board, the Development Manager and occasionally the in house development leads to define requirements for internal projects
• As the product develops along the lifecycle the individual will be further involved with implementing clients in to the system. This will require a greater level of client interaction and will take part in discussing with clients and partners the technical requirements and methods of integration
• The individual will need at least a marginal level of technical awareness to be able to communicate the project requirements
• Being part of a small team initially, the applicant may be called on to take on other areas with the project lifecycle so a flexible attitude would be appreciated
• Strong commitment and attitude on delivery, quality and timescales

Technical skills should include an awareness of the Windows platform, ideally knowledge of release procedures and SDLC processes. Any knowledge of UML would be beneficial as would ITIL awareness.
