You are responsible for installation, configuration, documentation and maintenance of all telecoms equipment systems, spares and antennas, and also of operations supporting equipment, in order to ensure a maximum circuit availability and the shortest possible problem resolutions times. You assure the follow-up of monitoring systems in view of foreseeing and analysing risks of quality decrease of the transmission. In cooperation with the NOC (Network Operations Centre), you assist our customers to resolve service affecting system faults (2nd level), even out of hours as part of a duty rota. Last but not least, you implement updates, expansion or new designed equipment. You will be reporting to the Teleport Manager.


You have a University degree in telecommunications(preferred not essential), switching / radio engineering, or equivalent. You also have an experience in operating telecoms systems, preferably involving satellite transmission, in providing 2nd level support. You are a stress resistant and client oriented problem solver with good analytical and trouble shooting skills. You are a flexible professional able to operate in a team environment and to interface with clients and equipment suppliers. You are bilingual French(Not essential)/ English.
