Leading entertainment company is looking for a senior network analyst based in Basingstoke and paying up to £45,000 on the base salary side. The role will involve some call out work and so a shift will be applicable.

The position is to ensure the consistent delivery of regional Wide Area Network Services, this 3rd line support role will have exposure to some of the most complex and advanced infrastructures in Europe, with exposure to leading edge technologies within the Industry. Although the role is primary support, there is a requirement to take a step back from day-today issues and look at long term improvements to the network and the services the team offers, implementing improvements, changes and upgrades where possible. This role should also provide a technical focal point within the Networks team, being able to take the lead on delivering in a very technical environment incorporating MPLS routing, LAN Switching, Firewalls / Security, QoS (including VoIP), and IPSec VPN's.

The candidate will support & the delivery of appropriate, resilient, secure and sustainable network architectures to meet the needs of client.

Daily support & analysis of network monitoring & ticket systems to ensure pro-active resolution of any issues.

Work with & monitor vendors, ensuring any escalation of third parties failure to deliver to SLA's

Follow agreed procedures & comply with any legal/ SoX requirements.

Communication & collaboration with peers across the regions & within client to work towards ensuring consistent network architecture across the client.

Participation in the selection & implementation of new network technologies in conjunction with other groups & external providers.

Developing firm working relationships with vendors of services and solutions to client.

Continually seek to identify areas for improvement in internal processes and procedure, and technologies, to deliver an ever improving level of service to our customers

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal, communication and business skills; able to communicate at all levels

Ability to analyse complex networking issues and communicate solutions to a wide range of audiences

Willingness and capability of building relationships with individuals with differing specialties and behaviours but a common set of objectives

Proven ability to document, articulate and summarise the need for technology solutions

In depth knowledge of network based technologies

Ability to learn and appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of a wide range of technology solutions and their alternatives

Good knowledge of Microsoft products and the integration between client and back-office systems

Good knowledge of security architectures.
