Global service provider is seeking a Unix Systems Administrator to join their 24x7 Data Centre Services team in Frankfurt, Germany The role is paying up to €60,000 plus shift allowance, bonus etc. For this role you will possess and display expertise in Managed Web Hosting and will use your knowledge of Operating Systems to troubleshoot server problems. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong technical background to join a successful team within a leading communications company.

The UNIX Systems administrator will be responsible for racking, cabling and maintaining network and server hardware. Will also be installing customer specific OS onto Sun and/ or HP servers, trouble-shooting network and providing support to Global Network Operations Center. Installing and customizing applications to fit client needs and writing clear and detailed status reports.

Ideal candidate will have solid UNIX / Linux System Administration experience, sound understanding of Internet technologies and protocols, excellent communication and relation skills, strong problem solving skills and English and German language skills. The person will ideally have good exposure to working with redhat kit.
