Our client design and manufacture a large range of vehicles and equipment specifically configured for the military. Due to a recent project win they are looking to recruit a CONTRACT Electronic Test Engineer to work on the design of Power and Signal Distribution systems in a Remotely Controlled Vehicle
The Role: Electronic Test Engineer
Rate p/ h: c. £35ph
Security Clearance: Need to be Security Clearable/ Security Cleared
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
As Electronic Test Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Microcontroller based board level testing
+ Power Supply testing
+ Sensor interface testing (inc. filters)
+ Ethernet, and CAN
+ DC Power supplies (inc. filters)
+ PCB design using ORCAD / Allegro
+ Differential Audio and Video signals
As Electronic Test Engineer you will have a good knowledge and/ or experience of:
+ Analogue Design and related issues
+ EMC
+ Thermal issues in a compact design
+ Circuit Schematic and PCB design
+ Motors, Actuators, solenoid drive circuitry design
Useful, but not essential:
+ Experience of Mentor Graphics
