MAJOR AIRPORT EXPANSION PROJECT – SENIOR CLAIMS/ ARBITRATOR NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!!
Claims Specialist to provide contract & claims administration services for a world-class construction consultancy based in Dubai.
Who we're looking for – senior claims/ arbitrator role – MRICS/ iARB

The successful quantity surveyor will have proven experience within both Contract and Claims Administration, representing the position of the Employer, including responding to contractors' correspondence of a contractual nature in a manner that best protects the Employer's position contractually and commercially.

• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in evaluating and processing of contractors' payment applications
• Lead and manage close-out of contracts including final accounts, contract close-out documentation, Taking-over Certificates etc.
• Review, evaluate and recommend for approval the Project Manager's assessments regarding contract's claims for variations and / or additional compensations
• Develop a proposed approach including a work plan, scope and budget and the identification of specific tasks to be undertaken in connection with the analysis & prosecution or defence (as appropriate) of contractors' claims
• Provide Risk Assessments of issues / positions that develop throughout the contracts of the Business Unit and present a plan mitigate the same, on a case-by-case basis
• Leadership - oversee the Senior QS (s) and other Quality Surveyors undertaking relevant task
