A Software Engineer is required for a contract role working on an avionics programme. The position requires a candidate who has knowledge of embedded C, ability to design and code directly from high level requirements and debug on target hardware. Responsibilities also include translating test planning procedures, producing any documentation such as requirements, design, test etc. and producing test scripts using Python, Matlab and C.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

Embedded C
Test planning
Python
Hardware/ software integration
Experience within an avionics / defence/ manufacturing environment
