An IT Manager is required to work for a defence organisation working on a change programme involving the current IT systems. The role will involve managing a small but key project involving changing the current IT system into IFS Management Systems. Although the successful candidate will not take responsibility for any direct management of teams, he/ she will run the project ensuring communication between all parties is clear and controlled at all times. Any experience of managing projects involving the implementation of an ERP system would be beneficial as would experience of APM, however Prince 2 may be suitable depending upon the level of experience in other areas.
The IT Manager will have experience of the following:
Excellent communication skills
Liaison with Technical IT staff & Senior Management
Management of data migration projects
APM or Prince 2
