We are looking for an experience Digital Physical Design Engineer to work on the world's lowest power microcontroller. The successful candidate will be skilled in the following: digital, IC, SoC, ASIC, physical, design, backend, synthesis, GDS2, GDSII, low-power, layout, Verilog, VHDL, Synopsys, DesignCompiler, Primetime, Magma, tcl, scripting, microcontroller.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Physical Design Engineer to join a world-leading semiconductor company near Munich. Here you will have the chance to be creative, technical and innovative while creating the world's lowest power microcontroller.

Your responsibilities will be to provide digital design services for synthesis, digital backend and flow methodology development. In addition, your challenges will include physical design, including floorplanning, power planning, clock tree synthesis, place & route and timing closure of designs as well as STA resulting in constraint refinement for complex mixed signal designs.

The successful candidate will have:

o A degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
o Several years of professional experience in digital physical design
o Hands-on knowledge of advanced low-power layout techniques
o Proficient knowledge of Verilog and VHDL for synthesis
o Professional experience with Synopsys Design Compiler, Primetime / Magma Blast Fusion
o Strong understanding of the digital backend flow from Synthesis to GDS2
o Tcl Scripting knowledge
o A hands-on mixed signal design background would be a real plus
