MDA Resources are currently seeking 3 Software Developer's based in Cambridge, Salary negotiable depending on experience.

The 3 skill sets are as follows:

Physical Developer

- Development of radio control software, operating at the MAC to PHY interface
- Knowledge of WLAN, UWB or cellular radio technology
- Experience of developing software for low power applications
- Ability to work and liaise with RF Engineers
- Expertise in embedded software design for high volume radio based products
- Evaluation of PHY operation and performance using test firmware
- Design and implementation of PHY drivers

Windows Developer

- A current and active skill base in C++ and object oriented design.
- A strong background in Windows SDK and Windows architecture.
- Device control and firmware communication.
- Microsoft WTL / ATL.
- Software development on MAC and Linux
- An understanding of USB / WUSB, WiMedia / USB, Windows COM and Windows Device Drivers / DDK would be advantageous.

Mac Developer

- A good solid programming background, with UML design skills being an advantage.
- A current and active skill base in primarily C but also C++.
- A strong background in embedded real-time development.
- Familiarity with Wireless communications such as Bluetooth, Ultra Wide Band (UWB) and WLAN an advantage.
- Experience of Development of MAC (OSI Layer 2/ 3) level (not necessarily radio) or radio control software, operating at the MAC to PHY interface.
- Experience of developing software for low power applications.
- Experience of working on embedded software for high volume products
- Some familiarity with MS Windows or WxWindows development would help for simulator-related work.
