Embedded software engineer position for high profile new technology company in high tech development sector has arisen, candidates are required to have strong software design experience, C, C++, Low-Level, WinCE, Drivers, ARM, USB, Bluetooth, 802.11, Real Time, RTOS, Embedded, Developer, engineer, design, Cambridge
Embedded Software developer.
A new opportunity has arisen within the product development group of my client developing exciting new technology for an emerging electronics technology.
The role entails core software development designing and developing embedded software drivers, library functions and applications. Design & development of pieces of firmware and/ or hardware to bridge the gap into the hardware world and facilitate hardware bring-up and test.
The ideal candidate will...
- be degree qualified.
- have good experience of developing embedded applications in C and C++, low level code in assembler.
- have worked on a large number of varied projects
- have good understanding of hardware and software interactions
- be able to design small hardware solutions to aid in the test or integration of software blocks.
- have experience of working with USB, Bluetooth and 802.11, etc
- be comfortable with 32 bit CPUs and 8 bit microcontrollers.
Experience of Windows CE display driver architecture would be a significant advantage!
