A top tier Investment Bank is looking to recruit a highly experienced Java Manager to join their Equity Derivatives team within their software development centre in Singapore to design and deliver high quality Java code under direction of an application engineer and project manager.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to, low level design of solution, coding and unit testing of the solution, working with testers to verify the solution and reworking defects and taking part in defect analysis
Successful candidates will have a sound and proven background in developing applications in Java (J2SE), good knowledge of Unix (preferably SOLARIS), SQL (Oracle including PL/ SQL) and outstanding OO design experience. Candidates should also be comfortable with Eclipse (or other common IDE) and Clearcase (or other enterprise source control tool).
Knowledge of the following is also essential:
• web services (SOAP).
• XML, XSLT.
• JDBC, JMS, Servlets; Ant.
• EJB container, tomcat.
• struts, JSP.
• junit.
• java libraries 1.4+.
