Senior Java Software Engineer – Java Software IT - Oxford

This is an extraordinary Java software company, winner of multiple awards for technical breakthroughs. Their engineers are recognised as some of the world's leading authorities on 'interactive data'. They work at the centre of the XBRL consortium that develops the enabling standards and their technology is recognised as the gold standard in the field. They also do incredibly sophisticated XML-based reporting and modeling.
This role requires you to mentor the junior members of the team and there will be opportunities for client facing work. This is a very responsible position within an elite team. Only the very best will be considered and your actions will dramatically have impact across the whole company.
An exceptional academic pedigree is essential, i.e. at least a 2:1 degree in a scientific or mathematics based subject and at least AAB at A-level or equivalent.

You must be passionate about Java development and your CV must provide evidence of this.
In addition to mentoring others there will be heavy investment in yourself; you will be privy to internal training as well as exceptional outside training. Facilities and package are both best in class. My client specialises in making sure all software products are market leading.
