VB.Net, ASP.Net, WCF / WPF, SQL Server 2000 / 2005, OOD, UML, Financial Services. We are looking for an VB.Net / ASP.Net Developer to start a contract working in Peterborough asap. You will have solid experience of VB.Net / ASP.Net using Object Oriented Design (OOD) and design patterns. You will have a financial services background and have experience of SQL Server 2000 / 2005 and T-SQL (Stored Procedures). Any experience of Agile project techniques or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) would be highly advantageous. The role requires a sound understanding of the full software development lifecycle, along with programming concepts and code re-factoring. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of test driven development and testing techniques such as unit, system and performance testing. You will also have a good working knowledge of Visual Basic 6 (VB6) and / or Classic ASP, XML / XSLT / CSS 2.0 and Javascript. Please send your CV for this role.
