VB.Net Developer - or C#.Net Developer who is looking to cross train - required for a role with a leading software and solutions organisation based in Woking, Surrey. The successful candidate should have strong exposure to VB.Net, or come from a solid C# background and be looking to cross train. This is a front end development role - client products - and so you should also have strong experience of Windows Forms programming, Object Orientated (OO) design and implementation, and designing re-usable class libraries. It would also be beneficial to have experience of graphics packages (e.g. Photoshop and AutoCAD), mapping technologies such as Google Maps and Microsoft MapPoint, SQL Server 2005, Stored procedures, TSQL, data access APIs and GDI+ (with experience of developing custom controls involving custom painting and rendering). The role involves working closely with the Applications Development team to translate product requirements and deliver future enhancements.
